The 168-page hardcover book covered for the first time the development, production and operational life of the three most famous Portuguese vehicles - the Berliet-Tramagal trucks, the Chaimite armoured vehicles and the UMM jeeps. A best seller in Portugal, the book also reached international readers thanks to  photo captions and extensive summary chapters in English.

A large part of its 470 photos were made during 25 exclusive photo reportages in Portugal, Netherlands and two NATO-led missions in Kosovo and Lithuania.
