photos made in Portugal

published in April 2020

Beginning in 2008, the Exército Português (Portuguese army) received a total of 37 Leopard 2A6 tanks and a single Leopard 2 A4 driver-training vehicle from surplus Dutch stocks. The Leopard is a very capable and future-fit main battle tank. It has been chosen by 19 nations around the globe since 1979 and over 3,500 tanks have been produced. Based on 10 years of field reportages with the tank fleet and extensive interviews wit crew members, this 74-page photo book includes over 200 photos which illustrate the Leopard on exercise alongside other arms and vehicles of the Portuguese Army.
